About Us
The C.P.P.A. Pool League was established in 1975 in Pinellas County, Florida and is a CALL Pocket, NON-Handicapped, round robin 8-Ball League. Each team requires only four (4) shooters per team (at least one female needed for Thursday Mixed Division).
Each player shoots four (4) singles games per night, playing each team member on the opposing team.
Payouts
* Weekly dues are $7.00 per
player per night
* No Membership Fees
* No Annual Dues
* $1,200 paid to 1st place with
14 Teams
* $1,000 paid to 1st place with
10 Teams
* ALL teams receive prize money
* Top (3) League MVP's paid on
Tuesday Division
* Top (2) Male & Top (2) Female
League MVP's paid on
Thursday Division
Mission
The C.P.P.A. (Central Pinellas Pool Association) is a not for profit sports organization dedicated to enhancing the sport of billiards. We continually work on recruiting new players & teams, ensuring our scheduling is fair and accurate, and listen to your suggestions, comments & complaints.
How to Join
Our next session for our Tuesday Open Division begins January 27, 2026. Our next session for our Thursday Mixed Division starts January 29, 2026. The sessions run for 20 weeks. Our teams always need players, either full time or part time (subs). Please contact our League President, Connie Mago-Tanner to find out what teams are looking for players or to add your team to our next session.
